Piracy at sea is far from dead. Today we have pirates from Somalia capturing oil tankers and their crews and holding them for ransom. It still goes on.
My Brother-in-law used to sail from the Phillipines & back, I remember him asking me what was the best armament to carry onboard in case of pirates. He never did get attacked, but he was just lucky. As you say, there are still plenty about. Take care Bob. Regards, Keith.
